BPC 157 is a body protection compound research, synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide derived from human gastric juice and is researched for its potential to accelerate healing of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and gut tissues. BPC 157 works by enhancing angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation) and growth factors. While animal studies show promise for injury repair and reducing inflammation and it promotes accelerated healing of musculoskeletal injuries (tendons, ligaments, bones) and has shown potential in treating inflammatory bowel disease and gastric ulcers. It may also aid in neurological healing and reduce oxidative stress.
