While AOD9604 is promising in research for fat metabolism and potentially cartilage repair, large trials showed limited efficacy for obesity, leading to its termination as a drug, but it remains a research tool for studying fat burning and metabolic pathways, often used off-label in wellness settings alongside diet/exercise in lab studies.
